The Duck Tape project presented Velocity Agency with intriguing opportunities to solve new problems in innovative ways. To generate public interest in the brand, Velocity Agency helped organize and market a pop-up store in New York City. By promoting the event on social media and hiring models to wear duck tape dresses Velocity was able to generate viral buzz about the clients products.
The relationship Velocity Agency and Lamarque have built extends back for decades. Velocity has produced numerous award-winning commercials, both for television and radio. By collaborating our team’s creative efforts and Ronnie Lamarque’s acting and vocal talents, Velocity was able to conceptualize and ultimately realize the famous “Most Ordinary Man” campaign. Along with our web work, PPC, social media management and so much more, Velocity has helped gear up Lamarque Ford’s marketing strategy for the modern advertising era.
Velocity Agency’s work extends beyond traditional marketing services. From editing and production to direction and casting, Velocity helped put together some of the famous rap artist G-Eazy’s most critically acclaimed music videos. In 2012, Velocity Agency was contracted for production services and studio rentals for the G-Eazy music videos for “Plastic Dreams” and “Been On”. The videos have garnered over 80 million views on Youtube and reached fans around the globe.
The Flambeau Fest project allowed Velocity Agency to flex the full extent of our marketing prowess. After building a custom website complete with unique videos and animations Velocity went further, publishing posters, buying billboards and channeling traffic to the website through banner and display ads. Velocity also helped organize giveaways to generate public enthusiasm for the festival.
Velocity’s work with Slap Ya Mama has been a spicy mix of traditional and digital marketing strategies. Velocity built Slap Ya Mama a brand new website and web store, driving tens of thousands in purchases a month. Combined with the SEO and SEM Velocity practiced alongside the website, Velocity has driven thousands of new customers to the superior cajun spice mix. Velocity also manages Slap Ya Mama’s social media, blog, giveaways and produces a cooking show with VP of Marketing Jack Walker.
The St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office has been working with Velocity Agency for almost a year. In that time Velocity has redesigned the website, designed custom imagery and logos, run mail and print campaigns and used SEO to drive more traffic to the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office website.

Over the course of the professional relationship between Mercedes and Velocity we have produced and placed TV, radio and print ads. Event Design Build was hired by the United Way of Southeast Louisiana for their annual Alexis de Tocqueville fundraiser. They wanted to honor David Fennelly, founder of Associated Terminals and Turn Services, and highlight his $1 million donation. They hired Velocity Agency and Event Design Build to construct and coordinate the annual event. Velocity Agency was also responsible for producing a commemorative video profiling the life of Mr. Fennelly. There were over 500 people in attendance.
