ROBERT BERNING, III
Mr. Berning has long-standing relationships with many of his clients, such as Northrop Grumman, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz, whom he has worked with for over 20 years to produce project documentaries, corporate communications, PR initiatives, and advertising campaigns.
More recently, he founded Event Design Build, a division of VELOCITY AGENCY, that works with clients such as TNT/TBS and ShurTech’s brand Duck Tape to create Experiential Pop-Ups at music festivals and conventions. Despite his work on a national and international level, Mr. Berning has never lost sight of his local community.
Since 2013, he has written and directed marketing campaigns for the United Way & Brees Dream Foundation, organizations dedicated to improving the lives of New Orleans area families. Mr. Berning’s work has been recognized locally, regionally, and nationally, and has received numerous TELLY, ADDY, Summit & Davey awards over the years.
A veteran of the marketing industry with a passion for helping companies realize their vision, Della Berning has worked with Velocity for several years. As a new business coordinator, she enjoys working with clients to determine their needs and matching those needs to the expert services Velocity provides.
Linda has been actively employed for almost 50 years and almost 2 1/2 years at Velocity. She has 4 children, 11 grandchildren and, 1 great-granddaughter. She is also expecting another great grand child shortly! Linda is also the proud parent of 4 cats, 1 dog, and 11 fish. Her favorite hobbies include fishing and reading.
A veteran producer and member of the marketing industry, Gary Holland has been on board the Velocity team for the better part of a decade. Gary is in charge of our Malibu office and coordinates services for our clients in California.
ACCOUNT MANAGER & PRODUCER
Alison is a life-long resident of the New Orleans area. Having attended Ursuline Academy and UNO, where she was an Art History Major, she has an unmatched love and understanding of Louisiana culture. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and over 15 years of experience in film and video production. Alison has worked on many local and national campaigns as well as political races, documentaries and educational films. Alison has been a long-time friend of the Berning family and has even collaborated on past campaigns.
DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Moe was born and raised in Baton Rouge where he graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in International Security and Affairs. Moe has a passion for public relations, communications, government, and politics in this country. Before joining Velocity, Moe devoted over 5 years of his life to learning, understanding, and appreciating the political system in which we reside. He has spent the past year in the world of public relations and strategic marketing as an Account Manager with Velocity Agency. Moe has interned and worked for many officials in the State of Louisiana. He has been a part of Senator Bill Cassidy’s office as an intern, Senator David Vitter's campaign for Governor, Bill Cassidy's campaign for Senator, Billy Nungesser's campaign for Lt. Governor, and many others. His job titles have included Administrative Intern, Louisiana State University Campus Coordinator, State Coalition Director, Regional Political Director, and more. In his last political role, he worked as a Political Strategy Director for Majority Strategies. Moe now loves being a part of Velocity Agency and enjoys working with clients to ensure that they have the upmost success in their endeavors.
After being with the agency for over three years, Matt has worked with both local and regional clients including Lamarque, Mercedes-Benz, Zatarain’s, Audubon Zoo, Whitney Bank and Baggett McCall. In addition, he has served as the Media Director for Velocity Agency for a total of two years. Before that, Matt had previously worked in both TV and radio through WGNO, WVUE, Cumulus radio, and Peter Mayer Advertising. He also boasts a degree from Jesuit High School as well as Loyola University and Tulane University.

Emily was born in New Orleans, LA. She attended Mount Carmel Academy during high school and then attended the University of New Orleans for her undergraduate degree. During her
time at UNO, she bounced between working on student films, volunteering with her sorority and studying the French language. After graduating from UNO with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Theater and Communication Arts, Emily spent the beginning of her career in the customer service industry. In November of 2016, she accepted an internship in the Media Department at Velocity Agency and has since moved up to Digital Media Specialist.
DIGITAL CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Seth Wiley is originally from Lafayette, LA and attended college at ULL, he majored in Visual Arts where he became classically trained in painting, drawing, animation and other media. After college, Seth worked at Vidox Image and Data in Lafayette primarily as an animator but was known as a jack of all trades.
Seth moved to Los Angeles and worked at Brainforest doing animatics for some of the larger industries in the United States. In the 16 years that he has been working in the industry, he has worked with a wide range of clients from tech companies to design studios. This has helped him gain valuable experience with motion graphics and video production while developing animatics, commercials, and video presentations. Now working for Velocity Agency, he is part of a collaborative team and utilizes his creative talents overseeing our creative department.
POST PRODUCTION MANAGER
Beau graduated from the Art Institute of California San Diego in 2013. Beau had worked in Commercial and Short film production as an Editor, Animator, and Digital Effects Artist in San Diego until 2015 when he decided to head home to Louisiana. Beau was hired onto the Velocity team in September 2015 to be the Senior Editor. For Beau, working at Velocity is high paced and fun. He enjoys his co-workers and monumental amounts of talent they bring to the table.
Alex has been working with Velocity Agency for slightly over 2 years now. While his official job title is "Video Editor", his responsibilities can range anywhere from sound design to assisting with productions. He's a big fan of Beau, Velocity's Post Production Manager who has taught him almost everything he knows. When asked about Velocity, Alex explained that the professional yet fun environment along with his co-workers and their personalities make the job a blast!
George learned the art of after-effects in Germany and came back to the states to study at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has always been excited by what the future may hold and believes design is one way to get us there. Using the various tools in his arsenal (After Effects, C4D, Premiere, Audition, and more) he creates visually captivating pieces that help move brands and ideas.
Born on an American Air Base near Madrid, Spain, Chase grew up in a military family and lived throughout Europe and the U.S. He graduated high school from St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi before attending college at the University of Mississippi, where he became a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. Over the 4th of July 2009, he suffered a cervical neck injury to his C6 and C7 vertebrae. After undergoing a spinal fusion, he braved roughly four months of rehabilitation before he and his family relocated from Honolulu, Hawaii to Covington, Louisiana. Though the road to reacquiring physical independence has been bumpy, the journey has been worth the strife. These days, he has a new vigor and appreciation for life. Chase has become cyber career-focused and absolutely loves his job working with Velocity Agency!
Juliana comes to us from Rio (as in Brazil, yes that Brazil) with a BA degree in Communications with an emphasis on Advertising and Marketing. Her love for web design and interacting with customers on social media platforms shines through her work.
Before working at Velocity Agency, she worked as a Digital Designer. After learning all that she could about design and digital marketing, she eventually came to the United States to refine her English at the University of New Orleans. She figured that UNO and New Orleans would be the best places to learn the language properly.
As a web designer with Velocity Agency, Juliana is building intuitive and visually appealing websites for a diverse client portfolio. Her skill with custom CSS code and her knowledge of backend systems further bolsters the strength our expert web design team!
Scott currently works as a Graphic Designer for Velocity Agency. Born in New Orleans, he originally graduated from Holy Cross High School and later gained a fine arts degree at the University of New Orleans. Joining Velocity Agency in October of 2016, he has helped provide graphic design for various clients. When he’s not providing new designs for the agency, he’s busy rooting for the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Cubs.
SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR
Danielle “Miss Chicken Fries” Doty has been with Velocity Agency since November 2016. She manages our internal social media accounts as well as those for our clients. Danielle received a B.S.B.A in Marketing and a certificate in Promotions from Northern Arizona University in 2015. Previously, she managed social media for a national retailer, Trashy Diva, with both online and storefront locations.
Danielle’s dad brought home the family’s first wiener dog in 2004, and she’s been a Dachshund enthusiast ever since. Danielle adopted her own furry sidekicks in 2015. Originally, Danielle only meant to adopt one dog but ended up coming home with two! Oops! Spooky, Savage, and Danielle are inseparable.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Layla began working with Velocity Agency as an Assistant Social Media Manager in April of 2017. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a B.F.A in Music Education and, after studying abroad in Brazil, she realized the power that social media had. She utilized social media to spread awareness about a program she worked with called Musica de Lixo: a nonprofit organization that allows underprivileged youth to learn how to make instruments out of recyclable materials.
